 The great swamp or Rokk swamp is a vast area of swamplands in Meru, extending to Peruk and Manas. This is one of the least populous places in all Dhara, except the narrow pass, the corridor of peruk and Korkraz port. Hailed as the domain of Umverrokk in scripts, this place is called 'Rokk swamp'. The great swamp covers the Bay of Arid and some manasi clan lands, combining 6% of the continent. |
Thr corridor of peruk connects the Meru kingdoms with Peruk and other kingdoms. The narrow pass connects Manas with the port city of Ner-rok. At least 15 cities and 60 villages are located in the great swamp.
Rain buffalo, swamp monkey, blue heron, crocodile, bear, swamp cat and water snakes are the dominant creatures in the great swamp. Elephants and tigers are also found.
The people living there are mostly farmers and fishers. Some woodworkers and smiths also live there.
Rokk swamp has some of the darkest places in the whole continent. The first cave and the tomb of Dukkarat are two of them.
