Nerons are a race of enhenced individuals with two hearts and light blue skin. Nerons came to Vel 300 years ago from the continent of zaab. Due to their physical condition their lifespan is twice of a normal human.

Physical description

Nerons are taller than humans. They are faster, quicker and have high reflexes. Nerons are twice stronger than a norman human and can outlive two human generations. Due to their two hearts they have much more stamina and can work tirelessly. For this reason Nerons have progressed their civilization much more faster than rest of Vel.

Nerons have golden eyeballs and light blue skin. Neron hairs have no variations and only black hair are found ( hair becomes grey and white with growing older).

Origin

It is said that an ancient man named jamu first experimented an forbidden liquor on his unborn child, thus changing it's internal organs, and created the first neron. The same experiment he carried on for nearly 20 years and created an entire race. Jamu was banished from Vel in sun year 226 for illegal experiments and he settled in kundavi region. The people of Kundavi saw Jamu as a god and some women volunteered for his work. Jamu successfully created 57 nerons. But as their number was growing, the people of Kundavi saw it as a Threat to their existence. Jamu left Kundavi with the 58 nerons and setteled in Bharu.

Jamu died in 248. During his death the nerons have grown to 600, as they could reproduce Between themselves. After Jamu's death, his son king Matso took over the neron throne and started collecting strength. Slowly the nerons grew to a huge number and established a strong naval fleet. The nerons returned to Vel in 321 as king Varaha as their leader. They wanted the island of Great golok as their new home. But the other kingdoms didn’t allow it. Only Manas was an exception as they were also isolated from the rest of Vel. Manas and Nerons joined and faught the Battle of ten kings and emerged as victorious. Nerons then settled in Great golok and ruled there since.

Culture

Nerons rules over Great golok and are very secretive. It is very rare for a neron to live outside Golok, but they are open to trade for the whole Vel.

Nerons practiced 'Drajal', or sorcery, the only race to actively practice it. The other regions some sort of feared them for their physical advantages or their Drajal skills. Although nerons are described as friendly and kind. They didn’t faught in any battle until provoked.

Nerons can't crossbreed with other races. The sages of Vel found it's reason that other race's wombs are not 'worthy' enough. Neron males marry only neron females and it is seen as a shame for a neron to marry a normal human.

Religion

Nerons worship an ancient god named 'Hiri'. Hiri was also described to be blue skinned. It was said that the liquid Jamu experimented, was actually the blood of Hiri and he extracted it from a secret temple in mount Rish. Nerons also worship Ruk, Naridal and Rad. The largest temple of Vel is situated in Davarik and it is dedicated to Hiri.

Warfare

Nerons are dreadfully recognised for their powerful naval fleet, the largest in Vel. They participated in battle of Rimdak on the side of Manas and found victory in just 4 days after joining the war.

Nerons use sharp disks and maces as weapons, as well as bows. The fouth king Simnar was an exception as he used two heavy broad swords as his signature weapon.
