King Gandesh ruki was deemed by most as the strongest person on Vel. It was said that he killed two full grown elephants with his bare arms, thus gaining the title 'the great elephant'. In year 441 he sat on the throne of Manas and in 449 he actively joined the war for head. King Gandesh took heavy scars in battle and wore an elephant mask to hide them, also as a homage to his title.
