Ruk (god)





Ruk is the most widely worshipped god of Amara. He is the god of animals, forests, destruction and hunting.

As per the holly scripts, Ruk is depicted to have brown skin, long hair and six horns circulating his head, which forms a crown. He is tall and muscular. Ruk is often seen with a large moose, which is his mount. It is said that, Ruk created the world from his own flesh.

He is also associated with the forest and the wild, and is said to have created the first forest. Ruk is a complex god with many contradictory aspects. The royal clan of Manas use the surname 'Ruki' as a way to honor Ruk and he is their patron god.
