Bhan or Bright-lord is the Sun god in the Verkaali pantheon. He rules over sun, light, fire and the sky.

The patron deity of the Meruli dynasty, bhan is a popular god in whole Meru and Dhara. Meru kingdom is named after him as Bhan-teq in Umvira language.
Bhan has golden hair, bright eyes and fair skin. He uses a fiery whip as his weapon. Bhan wears an armor made of molten gold. He is the consort of the healer goddess Zagag. It is said that the metal gold is originated from the tears of Bhan.
It is found in the scripts that,
"the progenitor of Meruli dynasty, king Himak was the son of Bhan. Bhan never forgot his son, and helped Himak in building the Meru kingdom by sending unlimited resources, gold and workers."
Bhan rides a male horse named 'Siraba' ,which is also golden. The Meruli dynasty uses this horse' image as their royal emblem.
